# Automate

Open the filter and you'll find the **blue automate button in the upper right corner**. After clicking on it, a page shows with all possible objects you can automate using this filter.

Automating an object like a tag will **save you a lot of work**. Automate objects by linking them to a filter. Even if the filter results change over time, the automation will keep the objects up to date.

You pick parameters for your filter and hook it up to the tag. If the resulting objects of the filter change the platform will automatically push those changes to the people who need the tag. It will remove the tag from people who are not in the results anymore and add it to the new people.
