Conversations
Introduction
The Conversations module is an interactive feature designed for Eventication platform moderators to make communication faster and easier. This module facilitates communication between members, list form responsibles, and visitors by allowing them to start (private) conversations directly through the platform. All communications are handled via email, with replies being intelligently routed by the platform to maintain the conversation flow.
Features
Starting a Conversation
Who can start a conversation: All moderators that have sufficient permissions.
How to start: Find a member or list form visitor and click the "Conversations" tab. There you can start a new conversation with this person. Or go to Communication -> Conversations and search for the person you want to contact.
Email Integration
Reply to conversations: Participants can reply to conversation messages either directly from the platform or by replying to emails received.
Handling replies: The platform forwards replies to the appropriate party, ensuring a smooth continuity in the conversation.
Email attachments: Both initiating and reply emails can include attachments. The platform is capable of handling attachments by uploading them to our servers and integrating their links into the email body.
Privacy and Accessibility
Private conversations: Conversations can be marked as "private," restricting visibility to only the involved parties.
Moderator access: Moderators, with the correct permissions, can view conversations except those tagged as private. This allows you to find old conversations easily without having to dig trough your inbox.
Module Management
Permissions: The moderator section on the platform has updated permissions settings that allow supermoderators to control who can view and create conversations.
Flag feature: Users can flag messages that do not adhere to formatting or content guidelines, which aids in maintaining conversation quality. The platform administrators will sort out the issue ASAP.
Future Upgrades
Updates on new features: This module is currently in its initial version and will be expanded in the near future to include more features based on user feedback and Eventication plans and ideas.
Flagging Inappropriate Messages
Purpose: This feature helps maintain the integrity and quality of communications by allowing users to flag non-compliant messages.
User Feedback and Suggestions
Feedback is invaluable for continuous improvement. Users are encouraged to send their comments and suggestions through our contact page provided on the platform.
