# Settings

**Members can join?**: Do you allow individual members to register for the event? You may want to close this to only allow [groups](https://docs.eventication.com/event/planning/groups).

**Lock questions when membership locked?**: When locking a membership, does this also lock their ability to answer questions?

**Lock food & beverages when membership locked?**: When locking a membership, does this also lock their ability to choose food & beverages?

**Can locked members remove their membership?**: A member can remove themselves from an event. When the membership is locked you can make this impossible.

Be careful, people who don't want to come will not come. Maybe it's better to allow them to remove their membership so you know this person will not be present.

**Remove members without availability days after**: If a member has got no availability days (maybe a moderator removed them), after how many days should the platform remove this member from your event? Set to **0** to never delete any members for this reason.

**Join URL**: This is the URL you can share with individual members to register for the event.
